CHINESE STYLE SPARERIBS 
3 to 4 lb. ribs (country style or regular)
2 (4 oz.) jars baby food peaches or apricots
1/3 c. ketchup
2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. vinegar
2 tsp. soy sauce
1/3 c. brown sugar

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Rub the ribs with the salt. Combine the rest of the ingredients. Set sauce aside.

Place the ribs in a shallow, foil-lined baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes. Pour off grease. Lower oven to 325 degrees. Pour the sauce over the ribs, and bake for 1 1/2 hours. Baste several times. Serve the sauce that collects in the pan with the ribs.
