POPPY TEA BREAD | |
1 c. sugar 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 c. (2 sticks) butter 3 eggs 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 tsp. almond extract 3 c. flour 1 1/2 c. milk 1 tbsp. poppy seed 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 1/2 tsp. salt Combine sugars, butter, eggs and extract in large bowl. Beat until light and fluffy. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Pour into buttered and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. 10 to 12 servings. |
