MACADAMIA SHORTBREAD 
1 (7 oz.) macadamia nuts
3 c. flour
3/4 c. 10x sugar
1 1/4 c. butter, soft
1 (6 oz.) chocolate chips

In blender, grind 1/2 cup nuts and chop the rest; set aside. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine flour, sugar, nuts. Work in butter. Pat into 9 x 13 pan. Bake 40 minutes until golden. Sprinkle chocolate chips over it while still hot; let stand 5 minutes. Spread lightly. Sprinkle with rest of nuts. Cool 30 minutes. Cut into squares. Cool completely. Start in tightly covered container.
