CRISP BRAN COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 cut Bran Flakes cereal

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter, sugar and brown sugar in a large bowl. Add egg and vanilla; beat until fluffy. Stir in flour, baking soda and cinnamon; mix well. Stir in cereal and nuts until blended.

Drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet for small cookies. Use tablespoon for large cookies. Bake until golden brown.
