SPANISH CHICKEN 
1 whole chicken
1 lg. can tamales
1 (15 oz.) can corn
1 (15 oz.) can pitted black olives
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (4 oz.) pkg. blanched slivered almonds
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook chicken according to your favorite method - season with salt and pepper. Cool and remove chicken from bones. Remove paper wrappers from tamales and cut them in pieces. Layer tamales, chicken, corn, olives and almonds in 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Top with tomato sauce and cheese. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
