CHRISTMAS WREATH COOKIES 
1 c. butter
2 eggs, separated
2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour
Raspberry or favorite jam

Cream butter until light and fluffy. Blend in egg yolks. Add flour. Form into balls. Dip into beaten egg whites and roll in nuts. Put balls on cookie sheet and press center down. Bake at 300 degrees for 8 minutes. Remove and press again. Bake 10 more minutes. Cool. Put favorite jam in center of wreath.
