SHORT BREAD COOKIES 
2 sticks butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar together until light. Add vinegar and vanilla and mix. Stir flour and soda together; mix in. Add pecans and mix. Drop by small teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 275 degrees for 15 minutes. Don't brown. Cool on rack and store covered. Makes big batch.
