SPANISH BREAD (Ice Box Cookies) | |
3 c. flour 2 c. sugar 1 c. butter 2 eggs 2 tsp. cinnamon 2 tsp. cloves 1/2 lb. almonds with skins, ground fine Pinch salt Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat. Mix cinnamon, cloves and salt with flour and add. Add ground almonds. Divide into quarters, roll, chill, slice and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes until brownish. Best on second day. |
