SOUR CREAM SWISS STEAK 
2 lb. top round or chuck steak
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 c. oil
3 tbsp. butter
1 med. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
3/4 c. water
3 tbsp. soy sauce
3 tbsp. brown sugar
3/4 c. sour cream

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Cut meat into serving size pieces. Dust with flour and pound 1/4 inch thick with a meat mallet or rolling pin. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, paprika and dry mustard.

Heat the oil and butter in a flame proof casserole until it foams. Add meat and brown on both sides. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and bake 30-45 minutes until tender. Use thin sauce over meat and over mashed potatoes.
