PECAN OR WALNUT PIE 
1 c. white corn syrup
1 c. dark brown sugar
1/3 tsp. salt
1/3 c. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 whole eggs
1 heaping c. shelled pecans or walnuts

Mix sugar, syrup, salt, butter and vanilla. Add slightly beaten eggs. Pour into 9" unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle nuts over filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. You can top it with whipped cream or ice cream, but even plain, nothing tops this.
