PECAN OR ENGLISH WALNUT PIE 
3 eggs
1 c. white Karo
1 c. sugar
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

CRUST:

1 c. flour
1/3 c. Crisco
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. cold water

1 1/2 cups nuts - fill crust with nuts before putting in filling.

Mix flour and salt and cut in Crisco with a pastry blender. Add water to form a soft ball. Turn on floured board and roll in a thin sheet to fit pie pan.

Put nuts in first, then put in filling. Bake 50-55 minutes in 350 degree oven. Knife inserted halfway between center and edge should come out clean when done.
