CURRIED CHICKEN LIVER PATE 
1/2 lb. chicken livers
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped apple
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3/4 tsp. curry
1 egg
2 tbsp. butter

Halve the chicken livers and saute in a large skillet in butter along with the onion, apple, salt, pepper and curry; for 5 minutes. Break egg into pan and stir just until egg is set. Turn contents of pan into blender or food processor and whirl until smooth. Blend in 2 tablespoons soft butter. Pour into small serving bowl. Chill overnight.
