MINUTE STEAK SCRAMBLE | |
4 cube steaks, cut into strips 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. ginger 1/4 c. peanut oil 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1/4 c. cold water 3 tbsp. soy sauce 1 c. celery, chopped 1 c. green peppers Season meat with garlic and ginger. Heat half of oil in wok or skillet; add meat and brown quickly; remove meat. Add remaining oil; heat and add celery and peppers. Cook until slightly tender, about 3 minutes. Mix cornstarch, water and soy sauce. Add to vegetables; cook and stir until mixture thickens. Add meat and heat through. Serve with rice and soy sauce. |
