CHOCOLATE BROWNIE PIE 
Pastry for 9 inch one crust pie
2 sq. (1 oz. each) unsweetened chocolate
2 tbsp. butter
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. dark corn syrup
1 c. pecan halves

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare pastry.

Heat chocolate and butter over low heat until melted; cool. Beat chocolate mixture, eggs, sugar and corn syrup with hand beater. Stir in pecans.

Pour into pastry lined pie plate. Bake just until set, 40 to 50 minutes. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
