SLICED TOMATOES WITH HERB
DRESSING
 
Large tomatoes, sliced 1/2" thick, enough for 3 slices per serving
4 tbsp. garlic vinegar or red wine vinegar
1/2 c. salad oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. dry basil
Pepper

Combine oil, vinegar, salt, sugar and basil. Blend well and set aside for 1-2 hours to mellow flavors. Overlap tomato slices in a shallow bowl. Drizzle dressing over tomatoes; serve or refrigerate for up to 1 hour. Sprinkle pepper over top.
