1-2-3- BASIC SALAD DRESSING AND
VARIATIONS
 
BASIC DRESSING:

3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. salad oil
3/4 c. vinegar

Combine all ingredients in Sweet Saver and seal. Shake well. Refrigerate. Makes 1 3/4 cups dressing.

DIET DRESSING:

In making Basic Dressing use water instead of salad oil. Good to serve on sliced cucumbers or cabbage slaw.

DILL DRESSING:

To 1/2 cup Basic Dressing add 1 teaspoon dill weed or 2 teaspoons snipped fresh dill. Good to serve over Bermuda Onion Rings.

HERB DRESSING:

To 1/2 cup Basic Dressing add 1 tablespoon snipped parsley and 1 teaspoon dried basil. Good to serve with tomato or green salads.

BLUE CHEESE DRESSING:

To 1/2 cup Basic Dressing add 2 tablespoons crumbled Blue Cheese. Good to serve on lettuce wedges or mixed green salads.

PARMESAN CHEESE DRESSING:

To 1/2 cup Basic Dressing add 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan Cheese. Good to serve on vegetable salads, especially zucchini.

CURRY DRESSING:

To 1/2 cup Basic Dressing add 1 teaspoon curry powder and 1 teaspoon minced fresh onion. Good to serve with fruit salads.

CREAMY DRESSING:

To 1/2 cup Basic Dressing add 1/2 cup mayonnaise. Shake well. Good to serve on green or fruit salads.

POPPY SEED DRESSING:

To Creamy Dressing add 1 to 2 teaspoons Poppy Seeds. Good to serve with fruit salads.
