SAUSAGE BALLS 
1 lb. sausage with sage
1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
3 c. biscuit mix

Let sausage stand at room temperature. Mix uncooked sausage with grated cheese. Add biscuit mix. Mix well. Roll into walnut size balls. Bake at 300 degrees for 25 minutes.

NOTE: These can be individually frozen after forming the ball, then thawed and baked. They may also be thawed in microwave slightly and baked in microwave until done. Keeps several months in freezer.

NOTE: The home prepared sausage contains too much grease and will melt cheese out of balls during baking.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
