TOMATO SOUP SPICE CAKE 
1 (2 layer size) pkg. spice cake mix
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
1/4 c. water as liquid
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Bake in 2 greased and lightly floured 8 x 1 1/2 inch round pans in moderate oven at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until done. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans. Cool and frost with golden butter frosting.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter, softened
1 egg yolk
2 tbsp. buttermilk or milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. confectioners sugar, sifted
