SALMON PATTIES 
1 (15 oz.) can pink salmon
1 egg, beaten
1/3 c. onion
1/2 c. flour
1-1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Crisco on skillet to suit

Drain salmon after opening can. Set aside 2 teaspoons of fluid from can. In a medium mixing bowl, mix salmon, egg and onion until sticky. Stir in flour. Add baking powder to salmon fluid. Stir same into salmon mixture.

Form into patties and fry in open skillet in hot Crisco oil until golden brown. Serve with tartar sauce or Caesar salad dressing as preferred.
