3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 box Jello gelatin (3 oz.) (without nutrasweet)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
Decorating candies

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2. Mix shortening, sugar, Jello, eggs and vanilla.

3. Stir in remaining ingredients.

4. Roll into 3/4 inch balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.

5. Dip the bottom of a glass in sugar and flatten each piece of dough.

6. Use decorating candies for eyes and mouth.

7. Bake 6-8 minutes. 60 cookies.
