FRESH BROCCOLI SALAD 
2 heads broccoli
1/4 c. sunflower seeds
1/4 c. toasted sliced almonds
1 c. plump raisins
1/2 lb. bacon
1 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. sliced green onions
3 tbsp. sugar

Cut broccoli into bite-size pieces, using stems. Add 1/4 cup sunflower seeds, 1/4 cup almonds, 1 cup raisins and 1/2 pound fried crumbled bacon. Mix with dressing of 1/2 cup sliced green onions and 3 tablespoons sugar and mayonnaise. Toss and chill at least 1 hour before serving. Serves many.
