HAMBURGER STEW 
1 lb. hamburger
1 onion, chopped
2 bouillon cubes
5 grated carrots
5 grated potatoes

Fry meat in fry pan. While cooking, add the onion. When browned and onion is soft, add water to the near top of the pan. Put in bouillon and wait for a boil. Add the carrots and potatoes. Turn down to about medium and let cook. Add salt and pepper to taste.

This is a good stew recipe to add leftovers. If you have a larger pot, add barley, dried peas, and noodles. Freeze the leftovers.
