LIMA BEAN BAKE 
1 lb. lima beans
1/2 lb. salt pork or bacon
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. ketchup
1 tbsp. finely chopped onion

Soak lima beans overnight, drain and change water and part boil the next morning. Drain off most of the water. Add salt and pepper to taste. Leave enough liquid to bake moist and save the rest (you may want to use it if water evaporates). Add other ingredients. Bake 2-3 hours in a slow oven (275 degrees). Bake in buttered dish.
