PASTA SUPREME 
1 med. onion, finely chopped
6 tbsp. butter
3/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced, stems chopped
3/4 lb. thinly sliced ham (unsmoked) or Prosciutto, cut in squares
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 1/2 lb. cooked spaghetti
9 tbsp. Parmesan cheese

Saute onion in butter until soft and transparent. Add sliced mushrooms and chopped stems. Turn up heat slightly and saute them until done (about 5 minutes). Stir frequently. Add ham squares and cook all together another minute, just to heat through.

Add cream and let all heat through again without letting sauce boil. Stir in parsley. Serve over spaghetti. Top with Parmesan cheese.
