TACO SALAD 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 env. Lipton dry onion soup mix
3/4 c. water
1 (4 oz.) pkg. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 pkg. corn chips or Doritos
Salad dressing or taco sauce

SALAD:

2 carrots, sliced
4 c. lettuce
1 lg. tomato, wedged
1 sm. onion, sliced & separated into rings
1 green pepper, chopped

In skillet, brown ground beef, just before done, sprinkle onion soup mix over meat, stir in 3/4 cup water. Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes. Drain meat after 10 minutes. Make salad. Grate cheese. Layer on plate: salad, meat, cheese, chips, dressing. Yield: 4 servings.
