BEEF AND BISCUITS 
1 1/4 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. green pepper
8 oz. can tomato sauce
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 can refrigerated biscuits
1 1/2 c. shredded cheese
1/2 c. sour cream
1 egg, beaten

Brown hamburger, onion and pepper. Drain and stir in tomato sauce and seasonings. Separate each biscuit in 2 layers. Press 10 halves in bottom of 8 inch ungreased pan.

Combine 1/2 cup cheese, sour cream and egg. Remove meat from heat and stir in sour cream mixture. Spoon over dough. Arrange remaining biscuits on top and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
