DOUBLE CHOCOLATE OATMEAL COOKIES 
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. soft butter
1 egg
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
1/3 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 c. chocolate chips

Mix sugars, butter, egg, water and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until almost no indentation remains when touched. Immediately remove from pan. 5 1/2 dozen. (350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes)
