2 c. finely shredded cabbage
1 1/2 c. chopped fresh apple
1/2 c. Celery Seed Dressing (recipe follows)

1. Toss cabbage and apple together in chilled salad bowl.

2. Just before serving, pour dressing over. Toss lightly to coat evenly.

CELERY SEED DRESSING:

1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
2 tbsp. instant minced onion
1/3 c. white wine vinegar
1 c. salad oil

1. Combine sugar, celery seed, salt, dry mustard, onion and vinegar in screw top jar. Shake until sugar is dissolved.

2. Add oil and shake vigorously before serving. Dressing will separate upon standing; shake before using.

3. Store remaining dressing in the refrigerator. It is excellent on fresh fruit salads.
