PRUNE TZIMMES 
3-4 lb. short ribs
4 tbsp. brown sugar
1 lb. bag pitted prunes
2-3 lb. white potatoes

Cook short ribs in large pot and skim fat. Add prunes, brown sugar and potatoes, cut into large pieces. Cover all ingredients in pot with water and cook 1 1/2 hours. Place in casserole and bake 2-3 hours, uncovered at 350 degrees for 2-3 hours. This is best when prepared the day before.
