FOILED STEAK SUPPER 
1 1/2 lb. chuck steak, 1" thick
1 env. onion soup mix
2-3 med. sized potatoes, halved lengthwise
3 carrots, sliced
Aluminum foil
1-2 celery stalks, sliced
1/2 green pepper, sliced
1 med. onion, sliced
Sm. amount (1/8 c.) butter

Tear off a 2 1/2 foot length of 18 inch wide aluminum foil. Place steak, centered, on foil and sprinkle with soup mix. Cover with vegetables and dot with butter. Sprinkle with salt and fold foil over, leaving small space for expansion of steam. Seal. Place on baking sheet and bake at 450 degrees for 1-1 1/2 hours or until done.
