COCOA CREAM CAKE 
2/3 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. sour cream

Blend butter, salt, and vanilla. Add sugar, then eggs; beat well. Sift together 3 times the dry ingredients. Add to the first mixture alternately with the sour cream. Bake in two 8 inch greased layer cake pans at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Frost when cake is cool.

COCOA CREAM FROSTING:

3 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
6 tbsp. hot sweet cream
