BAKED CREAMY RICE PUDDING | |
Butter 2 quart casserole. Sprinkle 4 tablespoons rice over bottom of dish. Sprinkle 4 tablespoons of sugar over rice. Pour 1 quart milk over sugar and rice. Place a piece of butter the size of a walnut in the milk. Sprinkle nutmeg over all. Bake 2 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. If raisins are used, place them over rice and sugar before adding milk. Depending on oven, baking time may be over 2 1/2 hours. |
