3 c. White Lily plain flour 3 c. sugar 5 eggs 1 sm. carton whipping cream 2 sticks whipped butter 1/2 c. butter 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. vanilla Cream butter, butter, and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to mixture alternately with whipping cream. Add flavoring. Mix well. Pour in tube cake pan sprayed with Baker's Joy. Cook 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325 degrees. Do not preheat oven. Place cake in cold oven, then turn oven on. |
