CONGO BARS 
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 box (16 oz.) brown sugar
3 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped nuts
1 pkg. chocolate chips

Melt butter, add brown sugar, mix well. Cool slightly. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well. Add flour, salt and baking powder all sifted together. Mix thoroughly. Fold in nuts and chocolate chips. Bake in a 9 x 13 inch greased pan, for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
