CHINESE CABBAGE SALAD 
5 oz. Chinese noodles, uncooked & broken up
1 med. head cabbage
1 carrot
2 stalks celery
2-4 green onions (tops too)
Few drops Tabasco or black pepper

DRESSING:

1/2 c. oil
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt

Cook until sugar melts. Put on salad 1-2 hours before serving (1/2 cup slivered almonds toasted in small amount of oil can be added right before serving).
