CHICKEN FRICASSEE VILLARREAL 
1 whole chicken, cut up in pieces
3-4 peeled potatoes, cut in halves
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 lg. green pepper, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
3-4 bay leaves
Salt, pepper & oregano to taste
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. dry wine or beer

Place all the ingredients in a covered pan. Simmer for about an hour or until chicken is fork tender. Serve with white rice.
