FREEZER TOLL HOUSE COOKIES | |
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 cup (2 sticks) butter 3/4 cup white sugar 3/4 cup brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs 1 (12 oz.) pkg chocolate chips 1 cup chopped nuts Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Combine butter, sugars and vanilla beat till creamy, add eggs and beat. Gradually add flour mixture. Divide dough in half, roll into 2 logs (12-inches long), wrap in wax paper, chill or freeze. Tip: To freeze, place dough in freezer bag. Then thaw and slice. When ready to bake: Cut log in 12 slices and cut each slice in four. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 375°F oven for 8-10 minutes. |
