DELUXE PECAN PIE 
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell (not deep dish shell)
3 eggs
6 oz. Karo dark corn syrup
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. pecans

Beat eggs slightly. Mix in next 5 ingredients. Then mix in pecans. Pour into unbaked shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Then set oven control to 350 degrees and continue baking 30-35 minutes. Filling should be slightly less set in center than around edge.
