SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN 
1 chicken, cut up or 6-8 chicken breasts
1 pkg. dried onion soup mix
1 bottle Russian salad dressing
1 (10 oz.) jar apricot or peach preserves

Place chicken, skin side up, in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Mix together remaining ingredients. Spread over chicken. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours uncovered. Basting occasionally. It is good served over rice.
