CHOCOLATE REVEL BARS 
1 c. butter, softened
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
4 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

In a large bowl beat 1 cup butter on medium speed for 30 seconds. Add half the flour, all the brown sugar, eggs, 2 teaspoons vanilla and baking soda. Beat on low speed until thoroughly combined. Beat in remaining flour. Stir in oats.

In medium saucepan cook chocolate pieces, sweetened condensed milk and 2 tablespoons butter over low heat until chocolate is melted, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Stir in remaining vanilla and nuts. Pat 2/3 of oat mixture into bottom of an ungreased 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan. Dot with remaining oat mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until top is lightly golden (chocolate mixture will still look moist). Cool on wire rack. Cut into bars. Makes 60.
