VEGETABLE CHOP SUEY 
1/2 lb. salt pork, sliced and fried brown
4 or 5 onions, fried
1 sm. cabbage, sliced fine

Add these ingredients, cover and simmer 1/2 hour.

3 to 4 carrots sliced fine
1 turnip, cut in chunks

Add water and cook 15 minutes. 3 to 4 potatoes, sliced fine. Add enough water to cook slow about 1 hour. Check to make sure vegetables are well done. Good warmed over.
