SQUASH CASSEROLE | |
4 c. sliced squash, no water 1 tbsp. chicken soup base 12 saltine crackers 2 beaten eggs 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese Steam squash using its own moisture until crisp-tender. Add crushed crackers. Let cool. Add 2 beaten eggs. Pour into 8 x 8 inch baking dish. Cover with foil with tempered side out. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. Remove foil. Top with cheese and bake 10-15 minutes. |
