TASSIES 
3 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
2/3 c. chopped nuts

Soften the cream cheese and butter. Add flour and mix well. Form dough into 24 balls. Press a ball into each cup (greased) of a miniature muffin pan. This makes a shell. Put a teaspoon of chopped pecans or walnuts in the bottom of the shell. Pour filling over the nuts. Bake 25 minutes to 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

FILLING:

1 egg
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch salt
