Mix all ingredients, roll out ... thick. Cut with doughnut cutter. Fry in deep fat (lard or Crisco). Fry on one ... plain or with powdered sugar.

Mix all ingredients in order and then roll out to about 1/2 inch and cut with doughnut cutter. Deep fry, and drain when removing from grease.
