OYSTER SOUP 
3 tbsp. oil
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 qt. oysters
2 qts. water
1 c. seashell noodles

Saute onions in oil until dark brown. Add tomato sauce and 1 cup water and simmer 5 minutes uncovered. Add oysters and simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Stir in water, increase heat, and bring mixture to a boil. Slowly add uncooked noodles, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer about 15 minutes. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
