DUMP CAKE 
1 lb. can crushed pineapple
1 lb. can cherry pie filling, or any other pie filling
1 box yellow or white cake mix
1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 sticks butter, cut into squares

Grease 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Fill the bottom of pan with pineapple, then add pie filling, pour dry cake mix over this and top with chopped nuts and butter squares. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 40 minutes. Let cool and serve from pan.
