RENAE'S RED HOT CHILI 
2-3 lbs. coarse ground beef
1 c. chopped onions
1 tbsp. oil
1 c. chopped green pepper
2 garlic cloves, minced
28 oz. can tomatoes, undrained, cut up
15 oz. can tomato sauce
12 oz. can beer or 1/2 c. water
10 1/2 oz. can condensed beef broth
4 oz. can chopped green chilies, undrained
2-4 tsp. chili powder
1-3 tsp. cumin
1/4-1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp. oregano leaves
1/4 tsp. sugar

In large saucepot, brown beef and onions in oil; drain. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered 1 1/2 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally. 8 (1 1/2 cup) servings.
