STEAK SOUP 
1 stick butter
1 c. flour
8 c. water
2 c. ground beef
1 c. onions, chopped
1 c. carrots, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
1 c. potatoes, diced
1 tbsp. Accent
2 tbsp. beef base (or 6 beef bouillon cubes)
1 tsp. black pepper

Melt butter and whip in flour with wire whisk to make a smooth paste. Add water and stir well until all lumps disappear. Saute ground beef and drain. Add to soup mixture. Parboil vegetables and add to above mixture. Add seasonings and bring to boil. Reduce to simmer and cook until vegetables are soft. Freezes well.
