MARINATED VEGETABLES 
1 can green peas (med. size), drained
1 can white shoe peg corn, drained
1 can French style green beans, drained
2 bunches chopped green onions
1 c. chopped celery
1 (2 oz.) jar chopped pimento

Boil together: 1/2 c. Crisco oil 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. water 1 c. sugar

When cool, pour over vegetables and let set overnight. Don't try it until it has marinated at least overnight or you will be disappointed.
