GARLIC-BASIL TOMATOES 
Here is one of my summertime favorites - people always ask for the recipe - it is so easy - always special.

In a small bowl, mix:

6-8 cloves garlic, minced
1 handful fresh basil, chopped
1/4 c. freshly grated Romano or Parmesan cheese

Cover this generously with olive oil (approximately 3/4 - 1 cup).

Pour and spoon over thickly sliced real ripe tomatoes. Enjoy!! (Tomatoes should be sitting in oil at least 1 hour before dinner for best flavor.)
